Where does the hemp come from?
Legal certified organic hemp
The vast majority of retailers on the market, even the very large ones, do not produce their own products. In many cases, these companies have no idea where the hemp in their products even comes from or when it was harvested. They simply buy in cheaply from producers in the Netherlands or Eastern Europe. Canavita has today become Scandinavia's largest producer of over-the-counter CBD products with production in Denmark.

MYTHS
Products from abroad are stronger
Many people mistakenly believe that you can buy stronger or better products from abroad, e.g. from the Netherlands, as the Netherlands as a state has a very different approach to cannabis in general compared to most other countries, and has had this for decades. However, this is a myth. The legislation surrounding CBD products in terms of content is the same in the Netherlands as in most other EU countries. So a legal Dutch product cannot be stronger than Canavita's Danish-produced products.

The organic hemp in Canavita's products grows sustainably outdoors, where it enjoys the sun instead of electric lamps. Additionally, Canavita's fields are not a direct result of deforestation, as they are former tobacco fields that have been converted to hemp cultivation.
